Overview

Our project involved the efficient transport, storage, labeling, and distribution of chocolate bars from Zagreb, Croatia, to the Netherlands. This case study highlights our integrated approach to managing and executing a streamlined logistics operation.

Transport

The journey commenced with our Road Department overseeing the secure transport of the goods from Zagreb to our Škofja Loka Warehouse. This initial step was critical in ensuring timely and safe delivery to the labeling and storage phase.

Storage & Labeling

Upon arrival, the goods were strategically stored on racks to optimize space and accessibility. Our dedicated “sticker team,” consisting of 19 skilled members, was tasked with applying the necessary declarations to each chocolate bar. The team’s efficiency and attention to detail were instrumental in preparing the products for their final journey.

Dispatch

After the labeling process, the Road Department played a pivotal role once again by organizing the dispatch of trucks bound for the Netherlands. This stage required precise coordination to ensure that the labeled products reached their destination within the desired timeframe.

Temperature Control

Ensuring the chocolate bars remained in pristine condition, our temperature control measures maintained a steady 16 to 18 degrees Celsius throughout transport, storage, and dispatch. This precision safeguarded the chocolates against quality loss, demonstrating our commitment to product integrity for temperature-sensitive goods.

Collaboration

The success of this operation was a result of the seamless collaboration between our Road Department and Warehouse team. This close partnership facilitated a smooth transition between each phase of the logistics process, from transport to storage, labeling, and final dispatch.

Outcome

This operation exemplified 2HM Logistics’ capability to handle detailed and labor-intensive tasks such as product labeling and international distribution. By leveraging our skilled teams and strategic coordination, we delivered the chocolate bars to the Netherlands efficiently, maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect.

This case study demonstrates our commitment to providing comprehensive logistics solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients, from transport and labeling to final delivery.
